Victoria Bennett, Managing Partner and Founder of Bennett Ashley Financial Search, is an executive recruiter who got her start in recruiting during the tech boom during the late 1990s in Austin, TX. Originally, from Maryland, Victoria worked inside a nationally-ranked top 10 venture capital firm in Austin and staffed technology talent for the incubating startup companies of the portfolio. Today, many of these companies are at the top of the technology field. In this capacity, she played an integral role in identifying and recruiting key players critical to the unique needs of early stage companies.

Determined to raise her two children close to family, Victoria joined one of the top accounting and finance boutique search firms in Chicago in 2004. There, she spent 8 years as a consistently high performer placing accounting and finance talent at Fortune 500 companies, privately held organizations and startups in industries such as financial services, CPG, manufacturing, distribution, real estate and others. The firm expanded into an international staffing company and Victoria, always ranked as a top performer, was critical in opening one of the company’s new offices.

Sensing a gap in the market for a truly boutique search firm that can establish the personal rapport and relationships necessary to identify the right talent at the right time, Victoria established Bennett Ashley Financial Search in 2012. Having proven successful with the entire spectrum of companies — from venture capital-infused incubator companies to national Fortune 500 companies — Victoria is uniquely positioned to understand the unique and evolving needs of each Bennett Ashley client. She brings her smart and strategic approach to every corporate client, and emphasizes the need to understand corporate culture and the other intangible factors that result in a truly successful search. Leveraging her years of work with candidates, she also brings a deep understanding of the value of going beyond the resumes and buzzwords to listen to and understand each individual’s long term career vision.

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University. Personally, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in her community and living a healthy lifestyle. Having lived for several years in Switzerland and traveling throughout Europe after completing her undergraduate work, she retains her love of travel and exploring new cultures.
